Deborah de Flammineis
-born in 1974- She grew a passion for theatre since she was just a girl and she already knew by heart all the plays by Dario Fo and Franca Rame, who she considers her mentors. Deborah began to work as an actress in her twenties, first in the “Noleggio Cammelli” theatre company, with directors Gaetano Sansone and Beppe Scutellà, then at theatre Olmetto in Milan with director Eugenio de Giorgi. She performed in leading roles in dramas by Brecht, Lorca and Ionesco. Furthermore, she becomes particularly enthralled by Commedia dell’Arte, in fact she performs also in Oneta, the place considered to be the native home of Arlecchino. At the end of the 90s she has her big chance, when she enters in the Theatre Company of Dario Fo, just awarded with the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1997. In 2004, with CTFR (Compagnia Teatrale Fo Rame), she tours the most important stages in Italy with the play “L’anomalo Bicefalo”, show that is hugely acclaimed by the critics and the audiences. Deborah worked as personal assistant of Dario Fo and Franca Rame for a lot of years. With them she learned the real art of jesters and of "Commedianti dell’Arte": real artists at 360 degrees, on stage and behind the scenes. In 2007, she wins an audition in London, where she performs in the pantomime Peter Pan. In Uk, where she lives for four years, she works also as assitant director at the Lion and Unicorn Theatre in London, in the play “Adult Orgasm”, an adaptation from some of Franca Rame's most famous scripts. Deborah held various seminars and workshops, teaching the theatre of Dario Fo and Franca Rame and Commedia dell’Arte in many schools and universities, like the Glenthorn High School in Sutton, the Southend Campus and the Young Persons Theatre Company in London. During her British experience, she acted also in small film roles, in Warner Bros’ “Clash of the Titans”, with Ralph Finnies and Liam Neeson, and in “A special relationship”, with Dennis Quaid”. Recently, Deborah moved to Berlin, where she has performed in “Arlecchino e la Polenta di Capitan Spaventa”, a play in the Commedia dell’Arte style that she had co-written with Laura Salis. She has written and interpreted “Io e Franca Rame”, a monologue based on her life with Mrs Rame and a tribute for her late mentor, successfully staged twice in Berlin. She has also performed in “La Prigione Once Upon a Time”, at the Panda Theatre in Prenzlauer Berg.
Laura Salis
- born in 1976- Lived a long time in Rome, then in London, before moving to Berlin. She has a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences, from the University La Sapienza in Rome. She worked for some years as a journalist, writing for various local magazines and newspapers. Then, she decided to dedicate herself to theatre and poetry. In 2006, she moves to London, where she teaches Italian, till she meets Deborah de Flammineis and with her she starts teaching also Commedia dell’Arte and theatre. Thanks to Deborah, she has the chance to meet in person Franca Rame and Dario Fo, and to explore their works from a very close point of view. Laura translated some pieces of Fo and Rame’s works for two special events in England and Scotland. She also appeared in a small role in the Warner Bros’ film “Clash of the Titans”. In Berlin, she performed in the Commedia play “Arlecchino e la polenta di Capitan Spaventa”, written by her together with Deborah. In the German capital, she has also read her poems in various live events. Laura cured the adaptation of “Io e Franca Rame”. In addition, she recently wrote “La prigone, Once Upon a Time”, based on her own poetry and staged at the Panda Theatre in Berlin.

Stefania Cutini
-born in 1982. In Berlin, she has been participating in several theater workshops. From November 2014 until January she did a workshop with the italian Berlin-based company "Teatro Instabile", a work based on the work "Crímenes Ejemplares y otros" from Max Aub, which ended with a performance at Theaterhaus Mitte. From June until July 2015 she joined the International Summer Theater School by Nicole Kehrberger, where she studied text and play, greek tragedy, the mask and the clown (in english). From September 2014 until June 2015 she attended two didactical theater workshops for German learners (Sag Ja! German with theatre games, at Kunstquartier Bethannien; German with theater games, at K77). On late April 2015 after a research conducted on the figure of Dario Fo and Franca Rame, she performed the monologue "Abbiamo tutte la stessa storia" from Franca Rame, in German language (private event). Now she is furthering her theater education with Italian well-known actress/director/trainer Elettra de Salvo.
